Dr. Mohamed Abouzahra Presents to Global Audiences
July, 2019 – Mohamed Abouzahra, Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the College of Business, was invited to speak to graduate students in the MBA program at DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Dr. Abouzahra's lecture focused on the use of blockchain technology in a business context and how this technology will impact the security and efficiency of business transactions.
McMaster University is one of the top 100 Universities in the world and their DeGroote School of Business MBA program is one of the top MBA programs in Canada.
Dr. Mohamed Abouzahra also presented two papers at AMCIS-2019 (The Americas Conference of Information Systems). One paper discussed developing a system to manage patients with chronic conditions. The other paper focused on the use of blockchain technology.
AMCIS is one of the top information systems conferences in the world.
