The 27th Annual Ag Woman of the Year Recognition Luncheon, organized by the Grower-Shipper Foundation, was held on April 21st at Paraiso Vineyards at Smith Family Wines in Soledad, CA. The award was presented to Candice Depauw by the supervisor for Monterey County. On behalf of CSUMB, the event was attended by Dr. Katherine Kantardjieff, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at California State University Monterey Bay, Dr. Marylou Shockley, Interim Dean of College of Business, Dr. Sumadhur Shakya,  Associate Professor of Operations Management, Dr. Andrew Lawson, Dean of College of Science, and Dr. Arlene Haffa, Department Chair of Biology and Chemistry, among others.
