CART's Chris Carpenter Awarded NY Emmy for work on Roots of Lacross, 2021 Best Sports Documentary

Cinematic Arts & Technology Media Production Specialist and Lecturer Chris Carpenter served as a producer of the Honest Engine Films' Roots of Lacross, that was awarded a New York Emmy for Best Sports Documentary. The film trailer is available on vimeo, the documentary provides a history of the origins of lacross and its roots in the North American Indigenous nations. Explored are the sacred and cultural aspects of this sport, and an explanation of the three types of North American Indigenous lacrosse: Iroquois, Great Lakes, and Southeastern.
