Dean's List
Dear Honors Student,
As Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Services, I want to take a moment to congratulate you on your academic achievement and to officially inform you of your inclusion in the Dean's List at CSUMB. Only students who earned a 3.50 GPA for at least 12 credits of graded work are included on this esteemed list of honors recipients. The distinction of "Dean's List" will go on your official transcript and your name will also appear on the CHSHS website. The Dean's List will also be posted in our college office located in Building 86A, Suite 101 in our display case. Please share this news with your families, significant others, and the individuals that comprise your support system.
I realize that many of our students represent the first generation in their families to attend university and that many have competing demands such as work, family responsibilities, and other time intensive obligations. You are among an elite group of individuals who have prioritized their education and balanced multiple demands to achieve academic excellence. As your Dean, please know how proud I am of your efforts and look forward to someday congratulating you in person.

Como Decana del Colegio de Ciencias de la Salud y Servicios Humanos (CHSHS), quiero tomar un momento para felicitarle por sus logros académicos y oficialmente dejarle saber que usted está incluido en la Lista de Honor del Decano de CSUMB. Solamente los estudiantes que tienen un GPA de 3.50 con un mínimo de 12 unidades son seleccionados. Esta distinción de la Lista de Honor del Decano estará en su transcrito oficial y su nombre también aparecerá en el sitio web. La Lista de Honor del Decano también estará exhibida en la oficina principal del colegio CHSHS ubicada en edificio 86A, numero 101. Favor de compartir estas noticias con sus familiares, su pareja, y los individuos que son parte de su red de apoyo.
Estoy consciente de que la gran mayoría de nuestros estudiantes representan la primera generación en sus familias en asistir a una universidad. Muchos estudiantes tienen responsabilidades familiares y otras obligaciones que compiten con sus estudios. Quiero felicitarles por ser parte de un grupo exclusivo de individuos que han valorado su educación y que han demostrado su habilidad de balancear responsabilidades múltiples y lograr excelencia académica. Como su decana, estoy sumamente orgullosa de sus esfuerzos y espero la oportunidad de felicitarles personalmente.
