Reactivation

This Student Organization Cycle will help student leaders navigate the CSUMB student organization reactivation and registration process. The reactivation process is divided into two phases. Please review the visual cycle below and use the supporting text for further explanation. Contact your council advisors with any questions.

Student Organization Cycle

Part 1

Part 1 of student organization reactivation includes completing four compliance requirements in order to be a recognized student organization:

April or November

  • 5 active members listed in Community
  • Revised constitution uploaded into Community
  • Eligible officers listed in Community (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary)
  • Stateside advisor confirmed in Community

Part 2

Part 2 of student organization reactivation includes completing the final two compliance requirements in order to be a recognized student organization:

August or January

  • Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) complete online training through iLearn
  • Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) attend the Executive Officer Retreat on Sunday, August 30. Time for the training is TBD.

Officer iLearn Course

Self enroll in the Student Organization Officer Training. All organizations' President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer must complete this course by 11:59 pm on Friday, August 28 in order to remain active for the Fall semester.
