Coastal and Marine Ecosystems
The Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Program (CMEP) is a research and education program at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB). CMEP supports basic research to increase our understanding of coastal and marine ecosystems from coastal wetlands to the open ocean and deep sea. CMEP research efforts are paired with education and outreach programs that engage diverse stakeholder groups and provide training for emerging and current ocean leaders.
