CSUMB Writing Style Guide

The CSUMB writing style guide encourages consistency in composition in official university communications, both internal and external, for spelling, punctuation, grammar, formatting and CSUMB standardized content.

These guidelines should serve as a foundation upon which to build your messages and are based on the Associated Press Stylebook. It incorporates some items frequently looked up in the AP guide, but includes some exceptions that accommodate CSU- and CSUMB-specific terms, and practices and products.
