Facilities Purpose
UCorp employees and buildings with all the needs of any other facility and help student housing, dining, and CSUMB facilities.
- The University Corporation at Monterey Bay provides building security, repair, design, and maintenance to ensure Corporation facilities meet the needs of the organization and the employees we serve. The Corporation Facilities Team directly supports Housing, Dining, Ryan Ranch, Salinas City Center, Child Development Center, the Otter Student Union, and CSUMB's Facilities Management Department (FMD).

University Corporation has provided a work order system for all buildings managed by the corporation; all UCorp staff and dining facilities can also submit work orders.

UCorp has its own CMMS to track, manage, and report all reactive, deferred, and preventative maintenance, as well as tracking kitchen equipment service.
- Maintaining and Optimizing Facilities
Getting ahead of the maintenance before equipment fails and building relationships with vendors to minimize asset downtime.

Our main objective is to provide all staff and students with the best possible experience while in any UCorp facility, walking each property weekly to make sure everyone is getting the support they need to achieve this goal.

Keeping open communication with all CSUMB staff, students, and 3rd party employees is the key to success.
