Program Overview
The Master of Arts in Education Program, which has an emphasis in Educational Administration and Preliminary Administrative Services Credential, prepares educational leaders with the skills, knowledge, and dispositions to efficiently and effectively lead educational organizations in today's complex and evolving social, political and economic environment. Program has a fall start. The Department of Education and Leadership offers two options leading to the California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. Part time enrollment is optional with advisor consultation. Fully online program option is available.
Options
Option 1: Allows students to earn a MA degree with an emphasis in Educational Administration and complete coursework required for the Preliminary Administrative Services credential.
Option 2: Allows candidates to complete the credential only for those who already hold a master's degree.
