Kathleen Godfrey
Dr. Kathleen Godfrey teaches courses in literary studies, teacher education, and writing. For 12 years, she directed a grant-funded professional development organization for teachers focused on writing instruction. She loves working with pre-service teachers, fostering their growth as they pursue their professional goals.
Dr. Godfrey served as a Fulbright Roving Scholar in Norway (2008-2009), has participated in 2 National Endowment for the Humanities institutes for higher education faculty (2018, 2023), and received an Award for Classroom Excellence from the California Association of Teachers of English (2008). Her publications have appeared in Studies in American Indian Literature, Western American Literature, and California English.
