Immunizations
Immunization requirements and record submission instructions are different for students enrolled Fall 2023 or after than for those enrolled Spring 2023 or before. Please read the sections below for additional information.
CSUMB will enforce the updates to CSU Executive Order 803 beginning in Fall 2023. At that time, all new students will be required to adhere to the following immunization requirement to maintain enrollment status.
Hepatitis B: Pursuant to Section 120390.5 of the Health and Safety Code, all first-time enrollees who are 18 years of age or younger must present proof of immunization against the Hepatitis B virus. The entire Hepatitis B, 3-shot series must be completed prior to enrolling in your second semester.
If you cannot verify immunity to Hepatitis B through an immunization record, you will need to complete the necessary blood tests to determine immunity or receive the required vaccines from a physician or clinic of your choice. The Campus Health Center also provides these services for a fee.
Immunization records or documents showing proof of immunity are to be submitted through Complio. You will receive an email at your CSUMB address inviting you to create a Complio account after you are enrolled. You may also log on through the link below using your CSUMB Username and Password. Please only use the Complio link to submit records if you enrolled Fall 2023 or after.
If you have questions about these requirements, please contact the Campus Health Center at (831) 582-3965.
