Demonstrating Accountability

July 17, 2023

Demonstrating accountability refers to taking responsibility for one's actions, decisions, and consequences. It involves being transparent, answerable, and reliable in carrying out duties, obligations, or tasks. When individuals or organizations demonstrate accountability, they openly acknowledge their actions and accept the positive or negative consequences that arise from their behavior or performance.

The Accountability Ladder is a powerful tool to assess whether your actions and behaviors align with the accountability characteristics.

Check out this short video explaining the Accountability Ladder and how it can create a culture of accountability and trust within your organization.
