Nationwide Pet Insurance
The CSU is now offering three benefit options for pet insurance. This insurance can cover pet accidents, illnesses and even preventive care and wellness services. These plans are available for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals and exotics (such as reptiles).
Eligibility
All CSU employees are eligible for this plan, except Rehired Annuitants and FERP participants. No timebase required.
Effective date of coverage
The first of the month following the pay period that the deduction was taken (i.e., first deduction taken out of the April pay period, coverage effective May 1st).
If a Direct Payment Method is selected (such as credit card) then the policy would become effective 14 days after the policy is enforced.
