International Students

College and university transcripts

Depending on your previous institution, follow the specific directions to submit your transcript. Directions vary depending if you've attended a U.S. college or university, colleges and universities outside the U.S., or from one of our articulation partners. 

Transcripts from U.S. colleges and universities

Send your request to your college or university to send official transcripts to CSUMB. You may submit your official transcripts in person or via mail if they are in a sealed, stamped envelope from your school.

Colleges or universities outside the U.S.

You will need to submit your official university transcript to a foreign credit evaluation service. We will accept Foreign Credential Evaluations from the companies listed below:

• WES (World Evaluations Services)
• SpanTran (Discount provided to students utilizing the CSUMB SpanTran application)
• ECE (Education Credential Evaluators)
• IERF (International Education Research Foundation)

You will need to submit your original official transcript and English translation of your transcript if you use one of the companies other than WES.

Articulation partner universities

Students who are undergraduate transfer students from the following universities do not need to translate their transcripts with WES or any other evaluation services. Students can submit their official transcripts from these schools directly to CSUMB.
