- KIN 370 - Anatomy & Physiology I Units: 3
- KIN 371 - Anatomy & Physiology II Units: 3
- KIN 390 - Exercise Physiology Units: 3
- KIN 471S - Kinesiology Service Learning Units: 3
Complete one of the following courses:
- KIN 497 - Senior Capstone I Units: 2
- KIN 499 - Senior Capstone II Units: 2

The Exercise Science concentration...
- equips students with knowledge related to the functional, nutritional, and physiological adaptations to movement
- prepares students for a career within the health sciences including:
- fitness professionals
- health promotion
- exercise testing
- cardiac rehabilitation
The Exercise Science concentration also serves as pre-professional training for continuation to a graduate program within the Allied Health Sciences. We have helped alumni enter graduate programs in:
- physical therapy (DPT)
- occupational therapy
- athletic training
- physician's assistant (MPA)
- kinesiology/exercise science

In the wellness concentration, students learn:
- dimensions related to achieving good physical and mental health.
- about personal well-being and skill enhancement that can be implemented into any profession.
- how to live optimally and help the well-being and self-responsibility of others.
