Department of Marine Science
The Odyssey Fund
The Odyssey Fund offers financial support to undergraduate students from CSUMB's College of Science with a demonstrated interest in marine science.
Odyssey Scholars engage in either a Research Track or a Professional Track to develop scientific, practical, and applied expertise and will regularly be challenged with professional development activities focused on leadership and communication skills. The Research Track involves original research at CSUMB and other institutions, and the Professional Track involves career mentorship and internships with regional institutions, agencies, and organizations. Four student scholars are currently on this 'Call to Adventure' journey.
The Anthropocene Research Award in Marine Conservation
