The Asian Pacific Islander Association student club and employee affinity group, along with the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Sustainability, and Otter Kitchens, will celebrate Lunar New Year with special fare at the dining commons Friday, Feb. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Traditional Asian-inspired foods such as cooked-to-order stir fry, spring rolls and steamed dumplings will be featured along with some not-so-traditional dishes, including Asian BBQ chicken pizza with pickled ginger and cilantro. The group has a limited number of vouchers for free lunch, which will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.

In addition, Associated Students and Student Engagement and Leadership Development are planning a celebration Saturday, Feb. 10, from 4 - 7 p.m., on the Otter Student Union main quad plaza with performances, food and prizes.
