Co-Sponsorship and Funding Request
The Otter Cross Cultural Center welcomes opportunities to co-sponsor & publicize on-campus activities. There are two types of co-sponsorships available: funding and programming. At this time, we are not able to co-sponsor off-campus activities or individual pursuits. If you are considering applying, please thoroughly read the descriptions below and on the first page of the co-sponsorship form check the type of request which best fits your needs. All co-sponsorship requests require the OC3 logo on promotional materials.
Co-Sponsorships Types
Funding:
All financial co-sponsorships are required at least 4 weeks before the event or program. Co-sponsorships are received and reviewed on a rolling basis. Funding depends on the number of proposals and available amount each academic year. Funds may be used to support outside speakers, materials, rental costs, hospitality, and other services. Please note that awarded funding can only be transferred to CSUMB accounts.
OC3 will not be responsible for making detailed arrangements (e.g. setting up contracts, ordering catering, arranging travel, etc.). Vendor payment, contracts, and/or service agreements need to be processed with check ready by event/program date. Documents will need to be signed by OSU signature authority. Copies of finalized documents will need to be provided to OSU once they are sent to Accounting for processing.
Programming:
If you are requesting a programming co-sponsorship, this entails collaborating with our student coordinators and/or professional staff to construct, develop, and execute a program or event. We will help you develop a marketing plan, programmatic elements, and be available during the program/event for support.
Eligibility
- You must be an ICC recognized student group or an CSUMB Office/Department
- The program must be open to and inclusive of the whole CSUMB community
- The program must align with the Center's mission, vision, and goals

Preference is given to programs, activities, and opportunities that:
- align with the OC3's Mission, Vision, and Goals
- serve as models for replication; and/or
- demonstrate inter-departmental collaboration and engage a variety of student, faculty, and staff.
