Our Mission
We strive to promote the mental health of CSUMB students in order to improve the quality of their lives and aid them in achieving academic success. We are committed to the development of the whole person: academically, personally, socially, spiritually, and physically.
Services
Enrolled students can set up an appointment by calling our office M-F 8am-5pm or by completing the service interest form if our office is closed. Telemental health and in-person services are available. Mental health services include:
- 24/7 Crisis Intervention - Call 831-582-3969 (More resources are available on our crisis information page.)
- Brief individual counseling
- Walk-ins available for student's first appointment Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 1-4pm
- Support groups
- Psycho educational workshops
- Consultation
- Educational outreach programs
- Referrals and resources
Recommended resources to support student health and wellness:
- Holistic Approach to Wellness: A guide highlighting actions and resources for student mental health and wellbeing.
- Student Crisis Response: A guide to identify the best resource for students in crisis or needing mental health support.
Groups and Workshops
Groups and workshops offer structured and confidential spaces for students to discuss issues and gain support.

The mission of Otter Care is to promote emotional well-being throughout the campus community.

You@CSUMB is an anonymous, online well-being platform personalized just for you.
