Welcome to Cal State Monterey Bay, home of the Otters!
The personnel serving the community through the police department are excited to have you as part of our campus community. The safety, well-being, and needs of students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents, visitors, and community members is important to us. The hope is that your time in our community is memorable and that your interactions with us are respectful and professional.
As the Chief of Police, I value community engagement and collaboration with all campus members as we strive to ensure we maintain the safest environment possible. Fully sworn, POST-certified police officers are serving the needs of the people 24/7, 365 days a year. We pride ourselves on providing an exemplary level of service to our community in both enforcing the law and supporting the academic experience through various community programs.
