Community Classes and Outreach
UPD has coordinated, participated in, and hosted many community (campus and local) outreach events. In total, these events have brought together an estimated 7,800 community attendees. In an effort to be consistently involved in the community, UPD hosts events such as Rape Aggression Defense, National Collegiate Awareness Week, CPR/AED training, and the Associated Students’ SLUTWALK).
UPD welcomes any opportunity to collaborate with the community and encourages CSUMB departments to participate in:
- Department-wide presentations or trainings
- Working collaboratively on an event, campaign, initiative, panel discussion or classroom dialogue
If you are interested in collaborating with UPD on outreach events, contact the department at upd@csumb.edu.
