College Futures
College Futures is a scholarship program with a new approach designed to help low-income students in Monterey County achieve their educational and career goals through financial assistance. This program in collaboration with the Community Foundation for Monterey County with CSUMB, combines need-based scholarships with college success services. The program offers a series of beneficial workshops for high school seniors. The workshops cover topics on financial aid, financial literacy and college readiness.
Attending the workshops gives students the opportunity to be eligible for a need-based scholarship. To expand our services to all high school seniors College Futures works collectively with other support programs (ETS, UB, and GEAR UP).
