2. When a spot is available, we will reach out to you and have you fill out an application for services, where you can indicate your preferred days and times for instruction.
3. Once the application is completed, we will schedule initial assessment to determine the ideal curriculum and intervention strategies needed for your student
4. Intervention: If your child qualifies, they will begin instruction that best meets their needs.

Intervention

The Reading Specialist will determine the evidence-based interventions that meet your child's strengths and needs.

Fall and Spring and Summer sessions are aligned with the CSUMB semesters. When you sign up for these sessions, your child comes for 1 hour, 2 days a week

Summer sessions run from mid-June through July. 

Fee Structure

The Reading Center does everything we can to keep our prices as low as possible for our families. Currently, families must pay for services for the entire semester, which includes 26 sessions across 14 weeks. We do have scholarships available for those demonstrating financial need, which reduces semester fees by $500.
