Over the last 17 years, I have been doing what I love, teaching programming! It has been a dream come true to work with young people and adults alike at CSUMB. My Master’s degree is in Computer Science with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence from CSU Chico.

My bachelor’s degree is in Mathematics from UC Davis. Prior to teaching at the college, I taught Calculus, Trigonometry, and Intermediate Algebra in a private high school for three years. While attending UC Davis, I did programming for Caltrans. My specialty languages include: Java, C++, Python, Visual Basic, Computer Architecture, Game Design, and the Microsoft Office suite. In my spare time, I love spending time with my kids playing games of all kinds, hiking trails, and attending sporting events of theirs.
