School of Computing and Design
Dr. Lara is an associate professor in the School of Computing and Design at California State University Monterey Bay. He received a master’s degree in Computer Science, a master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Telecommunications, and a doctoral degree in Instructional Systems Technology with a minor in Human Computer Interaction. He has over fifteen years of professional experience as a systems analyst, designing and developing web applications and instructional web sites using a wide range of technologies. His main interest focuses on investigating effective approaches to integrate emerging technologies into the classroom to promote learning.
