The Science Internship Program (SIP) has compiled various resources that are necessary when applying to internships or jobs. Topics include searching for internships, developing CVs and resumes, and requesting unofficial transcripts.

Define your internship search

When starting your internship search, it is best to start at the beginning. Use this worksheet to help you define your career and academic interests. Simply spending a couple of minutes reflecting on what type of internship you are looking for can go a long way.

Academic resume and CV

Letters of recommendation

Requesting a letter of recommendation is a little more involved than just sending your professor an email. Learn the proper etiquette to fully engage and utilize your letter writers.
