A special collection of over 1,000 books and periodicals are available at the TLA Center for check-out to CSUMB faculty and staff. For example, if you are newcomer to the CSUMB campus consider reading Outcomes-Based Assessment for Learner-Centered Education. This book features the work of many CSUMB faculty and describes CSUMB's process of developing a unique OBE model. Authors Swarup Wood (Professor of Chemistry, and Chair of ULR Operations Committee) and Amy Driscoll (former Director of TLA and current Associate Senior Scholar with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching) reflect upon this process and offer vignettes from cross-campus faculty who have successfully adapted the OBE model. For more details about the TLA check out process call x4574 or send an email to tla@csumb.edu
