RAFT Weekend is our annual homecoming here at CSUMB! Every year we come together, as otters do, to form a raft as a campus community including students, staff, faculty, alumni, and family. Come join this year's RAFT and be part of a campus tradition!

Friday, October 13
Friday MTB Ride
Time: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Otter Cycle Center
Audience: Students
Join Recreation for our free Friday Mountain Bike Rides. You will get a free bike rental, helmet. We lead "No Drop Rides", which means that you will never be left behind, EVER. We will take you on a ride from the Otter Cycle Center to the Fort Ord National Monument only 1.5 miles away. With over 82 miles of trails, each ride will be different and tailored to the group's ability.
The Break Room
Time: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Location: The Break Room & Monterey Burger
Audience: Alumni
Join the Alumni Association for a new RAFT week break room experience in Monterey. Work through the stress of life and career (or maybe Friday the 13th) with your fellow CSUMB alums. After this "destruction therapy", food will be provided from one of our many alumni owned businesses, Monterey Burger, which is situated right next door! Registration is required, please sign up early to not miss out on this event.
Werk Witch
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: OSU Ballroom

Celebrate the beautiful hxstory of drag culture with our Werk Witch Drag Show. Werk Witch is an intersectional drag show that encourages drag queens, kings, and non-binary performers to let their brilliance and diva shine bright like a diamond.

Monte's 5k
Time: 9 a.m.

It's time to break a stride and bust a sweat for student scholarships! Attendees are required to register in advance and encouraged to donate to support the student scholarship fund. We are calling all families, students, staff, faculty, and community members to walk, run or roll with our mascot, Monte Rey through our beautiful campus.
Final Coastal Ride
Time: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Otter Cycle Center
Audience: Students
Join Recreation on a ride from campus to Monterey along the beautiful coastal trail. We take a lunch break at one of the many scenic spots before riding back home. Free bike and helmet rental will be included.
MB Madness

Brunch with the President

Join us for brunch with the president in celebration of Reunion and Family Traditions weekend. Vanya Quiñones welcomes all families, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend and fellowship with their otter community. Food and refreshments are provided at no cost. Registration is required for this exclusive event.
RAFT Weekend Car Show
Time: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Come check out local car clubs from across Monterey County as they show off their vehicles, old and new. Warm refreshments will be provided.
Alumni Wine Tasting
Time: 11:30 a.m.
Location: Odonata Wines
Audience: Alumni
Enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon while wine tasting and taking in the Santa Lucia Highland views with other CSUMB alumni. The Alumni Association will be hosting another RAFT week gathering at Odonata Wines located at the start of the River Wine Trail. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required, please sign up early to not miss out on this event.

Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History
