MyRaft - Transfer Student Success Center Group
MyRaft is a student engagement platform that connects students to support systems, events, information, and each other. The Transfer Student Success Center manages a group in MyRaft specifically for transfer students where we engage with transfer students, offer opportunities for connections, and develop a vibrant transfer community.
Transfer Student Success Center space
The Transfer Student Success Center is the hub of transfer information and activity on campus. We want to help you hit the ground running. In the center, you will find a welcoming community space where new and continuing transfer students can hold study groups, study independently, and hang out with friends. You can also find information, advice, and support as you transition to and move through the university. The center provides information by trained and experienced peers. Come to the center and utilize study tables, couches, access resource information, enjoy a microwave, a popcorn machine, coffee, and tea.
Whether you are stopping in for a short break in-between classes, want to warm up your food, need to get some homework done, want to attend a transfer student mixer, or would like to learn more about student services, you will find a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Relax on the soft seating or push some tables together for a study session.
Services
Come to the center and meet with Cooperative Learning Center (CLC) tutors, research librarians, Personal Growth & Counseling Center staff, utilize the Let’s Talk program, or handle some business with the Campus Service Center staff, we got you covered. Check the calendar regularly for times and dates for these services. If you need help with a research paper, you can ask a librarian and check out the great resources and references they provide.
