Acknowledgements in Publications

During the course of undergraduate research activities, UROC participants may be supported directly and indirectly by multiple grants stemming from UROC during the course of their undergraduate research activities. Acknowledgement is critical because UROC must report out to funding agencies all the projects the funding agencies support. We ask that UROC funded participants acknowledge any and all the support provided by UROC when disseminating results of their research (including poster presentations, oral presentations, peer-reviewed publications, grey/white papers, etc.).

To find out your funding sources, please send an email to UROC with the following information:

  1. Your name
  2. Date range of research (please include dates of data collection and/or analysis)
  3. Title and/or brief description of your research project
  4. Citation of publication/presentation

UROC staff can then provide with verification of the grants which supported you during the time you worked on the project in order to ensure accuracy in acknowledging funding resources.
