Guardian Scholars Program

The Guardian Scholars Program at California State University, Monterey Bay was established in 2012. The program is designed to provide holistic support services to participants. Is dedicated to providing opportunities for students to reach academic, career, and personal goals. The Program provides a community of belonging and opportunities to build relationships with other students who have faced similar situations.

The program goals are to support, mentor, and retain students through college and graduation.

Eligibility

The Guardian Scholars Program is committed to supporting: 

  • Current & former foster youth
  • Wards of the court
  • Unaccompanied homeless youth (McKinney Vento students)
  • Orphan
  • Adopted
  • Youth under legal kinship and guardianship

 

Presentation Request

Staff is available to present via Zoom or in-Person - Presentation Request

After your request is received, we will send you an email confirmation. We will try our best to accommodate your preferred date and time. 

*Requests must be received 1 week in advance to be considered.

 

Support GSP

You can help the Guardian Scholars Program fulfill its vision and mission by giving a few ways:

  • Donate new dorm warming items for incoming students (bedding, towels, organization items, laundry items, etc).
