Resident Advisors are the members of Student Housing & Residential Life that work directly with residents to encourage involvement in campus life and to assist in emergencies. RAs are individuals who are committed to making on‐campus living a fun and rewarding experience.

Apply to be a 2023-2024 Resident Advisor:
1) Read and review the RA Role Description
2) Apply for the RA role
- Questions to consider when applying:
- What is your current understanding of what an RA does?
- Why do you want to be an RA?
- What can you contribute to the RA role and where do you feel you may need to improve?
- Please describe a community in which you have been part of. What were some of the characteristics of your community and what would you do to create a positive community as an RA?
- What does diversity mean to you and how can you contribute to the diversity and feeling of inclusiveness on your floor?
- 3 References needed
3) Email a cover letter and resume to raselection@csumb.edu

4) Talk with your Financial Aid advisor
5) Completed application materials are considered if you have:
