- California Department of Rehabilitation (a.k.a. Vocational Rehabilitation) - A state agency that assists people with disabilities to enter the workforce or to return to work and to live independently in their communities. The department provides consumer services to college students through offices located across the state.

- Blind and Visually Impaired Center of Monterey County - a non-profit agency that empowers people who are blind or visually impaired toward independent living through responsive education, support services and skills training.
- Central Coast Center for Independent Living — CCCIL promotes the independence of people with disabilities by supporting their equal and full participation in community life. CCCIL provides advocacy, education and support to all people with disabilities, their families and the community.
- College Living Experience provides post-secondary supports for young adults with learning differences. It is common for CLE students to have a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder, specific learning disability, ADHD, cerebral palsy, or other types of cognitive delays.

- CA State Parks — Describes all state parks and other facilities operated by the State Department of Parks and Recreation.
- Christine Marie Star Riders — A non-profit therapeutic and recreational horseback riding program for children and adults located in Marina, CA
- Golden Access Passport (federal) — For citizens or permanent residents of the Unites States who are blind or permanently disabled. The Golden Access Passport is a lifetime entrance pass to national parks, monuments, historic sites, recreation areas, and national wildlife refuges that charge an entrance fee. The pass admits the bearer and any accompanying passengers in a private vehicle if a park has a per vehicle entrance fee. Where a per person entrance fee is charged, the Golden Access Passport admits the bearer, spouse, and children.

- Special Parents Information Network — Supporting families who have children with special needs. SPIN Website includes local resources list with a section on Recreation.
- Sports Abilities — A national resource for people with disabilities to find advocacy, resources and support for recreation, to help improve participation and peoples lives. Includes calendars for every state.
